United Way of Jefferson & North Walworth Counties is excited to introduce a new community initiative: Every Step. Every Student.
Starting this summer during the Back-to-School season, this program will provide one FREE pair of brand-new shoes to school-aged children across Jefferson and North Walworth Counties.
For many families, back-to-school shopping can be overwhelming. Something as simple as a new pair of shoes can make a huge difference in a child’s confidence, comfort, and readiness to learn.
Every Step. Every Student. was created to help remove that barrier and ensure students start the school year with the essentials they need to succeed.
By working alongside local schools, community partners, and supporters, United Way is committed to making sure children in our counties can walk into their classrooms ready for the year ahead.
